Brilliant composition, the eye goes straight to the man, yet all those exquisite details of the trees don't detract from him.

Wonderful~! This is such a beautiful photograph. i like how you didn't put the path right dead in the middle. The trees really bring the eye to the path and the man is very easily noticeable. Your focus and balance is fantastic!

Wonderful Photograph here. I love how you have captured the predominantly white scenery here. Gives it that minimalistic with colours, but also detailed look. Good work.

I find this series really interesting. It's so much different than the self-portraits I'm used to seeing, which are shot from quite close. This portrait is very expressive because the landscape enhances the mood. The human figure is well placed..without it, I can see the image being flat, but instead there's a great sense of distance, of wandering and journeys. The colours are amazing. It's really hard to get snow to look such a pure white. And I like how dark the trees are in contrast. Great photo!

My area (Northern Cincinnati) was hit by an epic blizzard recently and we piled up like 6 feet of snow, but I was at work all day and couldn't shoot! It all melted by the time I could... I was so pissed. =/

This is a gorgeous shot.

Yeah, you must be in a temperate area too. El Nino is messing up our winter seasons! I hate being cold for no reason... if it's gonna be cold, I want snow!

I am... My commute to work takes approximately 40 minutes, around 60 miles for the round trip.

60 x 5 = 300 or so miles... I use about a tank of gas per week. My little Cobalt is pretty economic!
