I've seen many photos of yours taken with the Sigma 10-20mm, and it only makes me want it more!

It's a great lens, just make sure you get a good sample. Oh, and go for the 'older' (variable aperture) version, it's sharper than the new, f/3.5 fixed aperture lens.

IMO the older Sigma 10-20 and the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 lenses are the winners on DX for ultrawide. Neither are good for IR though (the only lens that delivers for IR light is the Nikkor 10-24, however both previously mentioned lenses are better in the visible light region than the Nikkor).

No, that's the fun part. The new one is less sharp (esp. in the corners) and more expensive than the older f/4-5,6 version.
