Here's one with a classical approach.

With this long exposure I've pushed the limits of the 5 year old sensor technology but I have to admit the result was suprisingly good! A few hotpixels here and there can be fixed easily, but no significant noise to worry about.

Nikon D80 - Sigma 10-20 @ 13mm - f/11 - 220 sec - iso 100 - B+W ND110 - Cokin P154 - Cokin P120 - cable release - NEF - Capture NX 1.2 - PS/CS2

Beautiful photo! Do you remember what time you captured it? Dusk or dawn? And how long was the exposure.

I want to try something like this next time I go on a vacation. It looks fantastic.
