2009.07.09, Magyarhertelend, Hungary.

This is my first real try on panorama shooting. It was shot from a newly erected lookout tower called Napszentély ('Sanctuary of the Sun' in English), under very lucky lighting conditions. Stitched from 4 horizontal shots (each at 13mm) using PTGui Pro 8.02.

The shots were done freehand, I didn't mean them serious, just to check the exposure and the filter position. But by the time I set up the tripod, switched the polarizer on my normal zoom to the Cokin ND gradient and changed the lenses, the sun got covered by the huge cloud formation seen here. Half an hour later it started to rain as well. I was disappointed that I missed the best time, but when I saw how well PTGui handled the 13mm files, well... I cheered up! :D

Thanks to =realityDream for his useful tips on PTGui!

Nikon D80 - Sigma 10-20 @ 13mm - f/11 - 1/100 - iso 100 - Cokin P120 - NEF - Capture NX 1.2 (evened the white balance of each shot manually) - PTGui Pro 8.02 - PS/CS2

anyway PS is not good for making panorama?

Not really. It's good for stitching telephotos, but it can't really handle distortion. PTGui did a far superior job.
