Spring is just around the corner...






I had this idea some weeks ago as I was going to my practice in the morning. At the beginnig I was going for the '2 windows = 2 people' concept, but since I could not adjust the positions of the panels on each window on this orange wall to express what I wanted to, I had to drop this. So I went for some simple self-representation... :)

The window is on the 2nd floor, and I was on the ground, far away (ca. 6-7x optical zoom used to minimise perspectivic distortion). I wish I had a fire-engine on the hand, LOL! :lol:

Yeah it is similar to Alex80's but i think i prefer yours. The open window in this one really seems to give a feeling of hope, as the title implies. The colour of the wall is very nice too and you've placed the window in the frame perfectly i think. Great shot :D
