Beautiful country you got there. Glad to hear you're getting your money's worth from the Sigma. From what I see here, excellent DOF at just 8.0 and the corners are reasonably sharp. But hey, it's all about the picture, and the picture is magnificent.

At 100% the corners are lacking tbh, if you want sharpness on a wide lens, get the 12-24 Nikkor. What really sucks, is that Nikon doesn't make a 10mm zoom lens. The only lens I envy from Canon is the EF-S 10-22.

i see you used a nd grad... for a begginer such as myself, which do you recommend? nd2 nd4 or 8? for general landscape photography...

all. both soft and hard. depends on the situation: the lighting, the horizont, etc.
